tiny tot boho chic

Lilah loves wearing skirts but sometimes I'm hesitant about dressing her in them because she is a little ruff and tuff. I was surprise this outfit lasted ALL day and we definitely had a long day and a few melt downs also. she picked out the shirt last week at old navy and it was 50% off! the shirt didn't look like much on the rack but when paired with the right pieces this looked totally reminded me of a boho chic outfit in a miniature size. the red skirt really made it pop.

TGIF

Friday is definitely her favorite day of the week for 2 reasons....its the start of the weekend....which she calls he "off" weekend and she has swim lessons every Friday also. I picked up this red jacket earlier this week. its perfect for fall weather because its not too heavy but it provides a great amount of warmth for those chilly nights and cold mornings. summer is pretty tall for her age (4) so this I got this in a 6/7 in little girls. she loves it so much that she runs around the house pretending to be little red riding hood. this was a great buy and for only $14 I cant beat the price.

the temperature in the Midwest during the fall can be pretty unstable. so in the morning we always bring a jacket but during the day it tends to get a little warmer and to help her with the change in weather while at school she picked out her old fur vest. this was a great investment because its over 2 years old and still going strong. outerwear I tend to buy in larger sizes so it can last for a few seasons.

ultra girly summer

what can I say about summer that isn't already obvious. well......it's very clear. the kid loves fashion.  she takes being overdressed to a new level and she loves every inch of it. she's not afraid to try new things but her overall style is girly mega glam. if she could wear a toddler wedding dress everyday for the rest of her life she would be the happiest little girl alive. I should have know she was going to be a problem when she was 2 and she would seriously try to argue about shoes and jackets. oh and I cant forget age 3 when she refused to wear anything but dresses. everyday was a dress and please forgive me if she didn't have any because then I would see evil summer. I'm so happy that is over and she's seeing the advantage of wearing pants, shorts, bottoms period! just a random Wednesday going to school.

Hey there delilah

Oh my sweet Delilah........she's in the terrible twos and along with the major attitude comes her love for fashion. She's developing her own style and its interesting to watch. I sit back sometimes and watch her as she does her own thing around the store or grab her stool in her room to reach a dress in her closet. She still lets me dress her sometimes but she isn't afraid to tell me " I don't like that ". I don't push her to like something instead I ask her what does she like and with all her sassiness she will definitely pick out something that fits her mood. Her style is a little more funky than her big sister. Still girly but funky. One of my favorite stores to shop at for them is Old Navy. Their clothes are on trend and you can also get awesome classic wardrobe staples there also. Always check out their clearance section so many great deals!
